SEARCH has decades of experience in planning and executing deep water missions to survey for, locate, and study the deep ocean’s shipwrecks.
We have worked around the world with partners in the Pacific, Atlantic, Gulf of Mexico, Mediterranean, Adriatic, Aegean, and Black Seas. Our work spans towed, hull-mounted and autonomous systems, ROVs, and submersible dives.
More recent work includes oil spill remediations of two oil tanker wrecks, Coimbra and Munger T Ball, the discovery of Endurance in the Antarctic, and telepresence missions that have located the wrecks of the battleship USS Nevada and the oil tanker SS Bloody Marsh.
Deep Water clients include a wide variety of private companies and federal, state, and local research organizations and regulatory agencies.
